Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz spent last night attending “Vive Le Karaoke” at the Fall Out Boy bassist’s NYC bar, Angels & Kings.

The event, which was hosted by Nylon Magazine, Tommy Hilfiger and Crush, saw the happy couple judge the performers, as they held up scorecards amidst the incessant laughter that kept on throughout the evening.

Of his recently established Big Apple watering hole, Pete told press: “I’m not the kind of person that’s like, ‘All right, I’ll meet up with you guys later,’ It’s like, what’s the fun in going out to a place if you’re just sitting around in a VIP lounge with a bunch of other people on their BlackBerrys?…This is a bar for all the rejects.”

Keeping up with his reject image, Wentz told MTV about recently being named to an “Unsexy” poll, “I’m just happy to be nominated. It’s funny, I got on People’s Most Beautiful list because of eyeliner, and I got on AOL’s Most Unsexy because of eyeliner, too. It was the reference in both of those. And I don’t really view myself as a particularly attractive person. So it doesn’t really bum me out that much. I have a mullet. I don’t care.”
